Description

This live edge bowl was turned from a piece of salvaged Canyon Live Oak (Quercus Chrysolepis, a California native). A branch came down in a storm a few winters ago, and this notch looked like it would make an interesting bowl. There were a number of voids within the piece which made for interesting turning and give it some extra character.
The bowl is finished with walnut oil and food-safe wax (beeswax and carnauba).
