Homo Faber Woodworking
“Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.”
– William Morris, 1834-1896, English designer and craftsman
Homo Faber is latin for Man the Maker or more simply Craftsman. I make things that celebrate and echo the beauty of wood and of trees, and that are meant to be used and not just looked at. You can read more about my story here. I hope you’ll explore the collections below and find something that appeals to you.
If you like something that is no longer for sale, let me know and perhaps I can make something similar, if not the same; each piece has its own character and I am not trying to produce consistent replicas of anything.
